Configuring the Data Source Settings
The Data Sources tab defines the list of data sources for the current server. Each data source entry specifies what data to collect and send to the server.
The Collector Data Sources editor can be launched from the Admin Console by selecting File > Data Sources or the Data Sources icon on the Toolbar.
In order for the wizard and test scripts to use the Collector data, a data source much be configured to match the test parameters used for the wizard and test script. Some data sources require additional client software to operate correctly.
Please contact Reveille Support at reveille.support@reveillesoftware.com for specific data source requirements.
The Data Sources tab enables you to view the list of data sources, as well as:
- Add. Opens the Data Source - <Data Source Name> dialog box where you can define the settings for the new data source. See the following sections for setting details.
- Edit. Opens the Data Source - <Data Source Name> dialog box for the selected data source.
- Copy. Creates a copy of the selected data source.
- Delete. Deletes the selected data source.
- Import. Enables you to select an exported XML data source file to import.
